
RGV Vipers Announce Open Tryout

EDINBURG, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the NBA G League affiliate of the Houston Rockets, announced today the open tryout date for the 2019-20 season. The tryout will be held on September 7 at Toyota Center in Houston.
Prospective players are given the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the RGV Vipers coaching staff and the Houston Rockets basketball operations staff. Prospects will compete to earn a potential invitation to the Vipers training camp and an opportunity to sign an NBA G League contract.
Tryouts in Houston
When: Saturday, September 7, 2019
Time: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. (CT)
Where: Houston Rockets Practice Facility at Toyota Center

*Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Administrative Entrance of the Toyota Center. Only players will be allowed in the gym - spectators will not be permitted.
Registration, release and health information authorization forms can be found on www.RGVipers.com. Prospective players are encouraged to bring the completed forms with them on the day of tryout. There will be a $200 fee due on the day of tryout and can be paid upon arrival at the facility via cash, cashier check, or money order. Registration for the tryout will begin at 9 a.m. and workout will begin at 10 a.m. All participants must arrive by the 10 a.m. start.
