New England Revolution News Release

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - Fully rested after a bye in the schedule last weekend, the unbeaten New England Revolution will renew its rivalry with Eastern Conference foe D.C. United when the clubs clash at RFK Stadium at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 17. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes, while the match will also be available in high definition on ESPN2 HD. Local radio listeners can catch the action in English on the WEEI Radio Network, while ESPN Deportes Radio will carry the game nationally in Spanish.

This will be the first of two regular-season meetings between the Revolution (2-0-1, 7 pts.) and United (1-1-2, 5 pts.) this season, and the only one at RFK Stadium. The regular-season series will conclude on May 30, when New England hosts D.C. at Gillette Stadium.

Entering the weekend, the Revs are one of only three remaining undefeated teams in the league and sit just one point behind the Chicago Fire for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, D.C. will be looking to bounce back after suffering its first loss of the season at Real Salt Lake on Saturday, April 11, and is tied for fourth in the East.
