FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution have signed goalkeeper Jacob Jackson, the 24th-overall selection in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft, to a one-year MLS contract with additional club options through the 2025 MLS season.

Jackson, 21, was a three-year starter at Loyola Marymount, posting a 26-8-8 career record for the Lions. The Escondido, Calif. native was named the West Coast Conference Goalkeeper of the Year and an All-WCC First Team selection in each of the last two seasons. As a redshirt junior in 2021, Jackson set a career high with 11 wins, allowing only 12 goals in 17 games while posting eight shutouts.

During the 2021 spring season, Jackson went unbeaten (6-0-3) and allowed only two goals across 870 minutes to become just the second goalkeeper in WCC history to post a goals against average of under 0.25 in a season. Jackson also holds the Loyola Marymount record for most consecutive scoreless minutes (560) in a season.
