Revolution Manager Etchebarren Suspended 4 Games

(York, Pa): York Revolution manager Andy Etchebarren has been suspended for the team's next four games, a road series in Bridgewater, NJ against the Somerset Patriots. The suspension stems from his ejection from a game in York against the Long Island Ducks on Friday, June 8.

Pitching Coach Mark Mason will serve as acting manager in Etchebarren's absence. The series at Somerset begins tomorrow (Thursday), lasting through Sunday.

Etchebarren will be eligible to return to the Revolution bench on Monday, June 18 when York hosts the Sugar Land Skeeters for a three-game series at Sovereign Bank Stadium.

The York Revolution Professional Baseball Club is a member of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. The team has captured the Atlantic League Championship in two consecutive seasons, 2010 and 2011 in just five years as a franchise.
