FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution have loaned forward Jozy Altidore to Club Puebla of Liga MX for the remainder of 2022. Altidore's loan is set to expire on Dec. 31, 2022.
Altidore, 32, played in 17 matches with New England since joining the club in February 2022. Altidore made four starts and scored one goal, with an additional two appearances in Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League action. For his MLS career, the United States international owns 78 goals and 25 assists in 193 regular season games.
New England (6-7-8; 26 pts.) resumes the Major League Soccer season with a home match against Toronto FC this Saturday, July 30 at Gillette Stadium. The match kicks off at 8:00 p.m. ET on WBZ and myRITV (Rhode Island), with Brad Feldman, Charlie Davies, and Tamara Brown calling the action. CBS Boston's "Revolution Kickoff" pregame special begins at 7:30 p.m. on WBZ. Saturday's contest also airs on the radio via 98.5 The Sports Hub and 1260 AM Nossa Radio in Portuguese.
