FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution (2-6-1, 7 pts.) fell to the Montreal Impact, 3-0, at Gillette Stadium on Wednesday evening. Montreal's Shamit Shome opened the scoring in the 79th minute, followed by a pair of goals from Anthony Jackson-Hamel in the 85th and 93rd minutes.
Goalkeeper Cody Cropper set a single-season career high with six saves in tonight's contest - including a spectacular double save in the 10th minute - giving him 18 stops on the season. Cropper's 3.8 saves per 90 minutes is the fourth best figure among all MLS goalkeepers with at least two appearances this season.
Forward Juan Agudelo eclipsed a milestone with his 200th overall MLS appearance, having played in 194 regular season games and six postseason matches. In addition, forward Brian Wright - recalled from his loan to Birmingham Legion FC on April 16 - logged eight minutes as a substitute in his first MLS appearance of the season.
New England returns to action on Saturday, April 27, when the club visits Sporting Kansas City at Children's Mercy Park. The match kicks off at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Boston, 98.5 The Sports Hub, and in Portuguese on 1260 AM Nossa Radio.

- The Revolution fell to the Montreal Impact, 3-0, on Wednesday, setting the club's record at 2-6-1 (7 pts.) through nine games of the 2019 MLS season.
New England's all-time record against Montreal moves to 9-9-2, including a 5-4-1 mark in games played at Gillette Stadium.
Cropper Sets Single-Game Career High with Six Saves
- Goalkeeper Cody Cropper set a single-game career high with six saves in tonight's contest.
- In each of the Revolution's prior two matches vs. Atlanta on April 13 and New York on April 20, Cropper tied his previous single-game career high with five saves.
- Since taking the starting goalkeeping job on March 30 vs. Minnesota, Cropper has posted a 2-3-0 record with 18 saves. His 3.8 saves per 90 minutes currently rank fourth among all MLS goalkeepers with at least two starts this season.
Agudelo Registers 200th Overall MLS Appearance
- Forward Juan Agudelo made his 200th combined regular season (194) and postseason (six) MLS appearance in tonight's match.
- Agudelo, who entered MLS at age 17 as the New York Red Bulls' second ever Homegrown Player signing, has made 135 regular season appearances since joining the Revolution in 2013.
- Agudelo played all 90 minutes against Montreal, recording three shots, 58 touches, two tackles, and one foul won.
Revolution Starting XI Sees No Changes
- The Revolution's starting lineup was unchanged from last weekend's match, April 20 vs. the New York Red Bulls. This marked the first time in 2019 that New England has used the same starting lineup in consecutive matches.
