Chesapeake Baysox News Release
BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today NASCAR Night Saturday, April 30, as the team takes on the Richmond Flying Squirrels at 6:35 p.m. The event features a Nationwide Series stock car, the Nationwide NASCAR simulator, and NASCAR giveaways. After the game, the Baysox light up the skies around the stadium with a fireworks extravaganza.
Baysox Director of Marketing Brandan Kaiser looks forward to the event. "NASCAR Night is going to be one of the best events of the season," said Kaiser. "Our mascot Louie loves racing, I just hope we can keep him out of the race car simulator."
As fans approach the stadium, they can see the official Nationwide stock car on display on the front pad. For fans who want to experience the thrill and feel the power of driving a race car, they can take a turn in the simulator next to the stock car.
Throughout the game, fans can compete in trivia contests and win various NASCAR prizes. On-field promotions will feature racing themes. Tickets for NASCAR Night are range from $6 to $14, and are available at www.baysox.com or by calling the Baysox box office at (301) 464-4865.
