Renda Named NWL Pitcher of the Night

Waterloo, IA - The Northwoods League has named Waterloo Bucks hurler TJ Renda the league's Pitcher of the Night for his efforts in Waterloo's 2-1 win over the Willmar Stingers on Friday. Renda, an Alabama State University product, earned a no-decision, throwing six innings and allowing just one run. The righty allowed only five hits and one walk while striking out three batters.
The Bucks begin a two-game series at the St. Cloud Rox tonight before returning home to start a four-game homestand on Monday. Group outings and single-game tickets are currently on sale.
