LOVELAND, Colo. - The Ontario Reign (2-3), four-time ECHL Pacific Division Champions and proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's 2014 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, fell by a 4-1 score to the Colorado Eagles (3-2) in Game 5 of their Pacific Division Semifinals series in front of a crowd of 4,680 on Friday night at the Budweiser Events Center.

Kyle Kraemer put the Eagles on the board at the 8:50 mark of the first period when he gathered a Colin Joe rebound and fired it past Jussi Olkinuora.

Judd Blackwater tied the score for the Reign early in the second frame with an unassisted goal by walking in and beating Clarke Saunders at 1:09.

Colorado took the lead again during a 5-on-3 power-play as Taylor Vause slid the puck across the crease to Trent Daavettila, who buried his shot at 8:07.

The Eagles closed out the game in the third period with goals from Teigan Zahn at 5:42 and Brock Nixon at 11:50 to take a 3-2 series lead and push Ontario to the brink of elimination.

Olkinuora took the loss with 26 saves; Saunders earned the win with 36 stops.
