TONIGHT:? The Ontario Reign (2-2) and Colorado Eagles (2-2) play the fifth game of their best-of-seven Pacific Division Semifinals matchup, and the final of three held in Colorado before the series shifts back to Citizens Business Bank Arena. Regardless of the outcome of the series, this is the final time that the Reign will play the Eagles in Colorado in ECHL competition.??
BLACKWATER BREAKS THROUGH:? Judd Blackwater's two goals on Wednesday were his first of the series, and - along with his assist - gives him the team lead in postseason points with five. With his two goals on a series-leading 14 shots, his shooting percentage checks in at 14.3%.??
EARLY LEAD CRITICAL:? A common trend through this series is whoever leads after the first period ends up with the win. Both Ontario and Colorado are 2-0 when leading after the second period. ?
PENALTY-FILLED SERIES:? Given the volume of penalties assessed so far through four games, it's no surprise that the top three PIM leaders in the ECHL are involved in the current series. Colorado's Sean Zimmerman leads the way with 37, while Ontario's Alex Roach (26) and Kyle Bigos (22) have also logged considerable time in the box.
