Reign Lose To Condors, 7-3

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, lost 7-3 to the Bakersfield Condors before a crowd of 6,056 at Rabobank Arena Saturday night.

The game went to the first intermission with the Condors ahead 1-0 on a goal by Pascal Morency at 10:41, but the Reign came out with momentum in the second frame. Luke Beaverson blasted home a goal at 2:30 and Ontario marched right back into the Bakersfield zone and took a 2-1 lead 18 seconds later on Jordan Morrison's 14th goal of the season. Morency tied it at two at 10:16 and Stephane Goulet re-established the Condors' lead, 3-2, at 16:22.

The Condors jumped out to a 7-2 lead in the third period on goals by Vyaccheslav Trukhno, Joel Broda, and two by Guillaume Lefebvre before Shawn Collymore's wrist shot from the top of the left circle made the final score 7-3.

Beau Erickson made 46 saves in the loss, while Brian Stewart picked up the win with 27 saves.
