Reign FC Unveils 2019 Secondary Jersey

Seattle Reign FC News Release

TACOMA, Wash. - At an event at Rhein Haus in Tacoma on Thursday evening in front of an enthusiastic group of its supporters, Reign FC revealed its secondary jersey for the 2019 and 2020 NWSL seasons. Reign FC also revealed that it has cemented a multi-year partnership with Boeing that will see the iconic logo from the aerospace pioneer adorn the back of Reign FC's primary and secondary jerseys.

The 2019/2020 secondary kits- designed in conjunction with Nike, one of the founding sponsors of the NWSL- are a bold take on the classic white kit. Descending from the black collar is a stripe comprised of small black diamonds, an element found within the crown of the club's crest. The stripe terminates to create space for the logo of Reign FC's presenting sponsor, Zulily, before extending downward to the bottom of the shirt. On the back, directly below the numbers, sits the Boeing logo.

"The kits look amazing - they are the perfect fit for our club," said Reign FC midfielder Bev Yanez. "This region is full of innovative companies doing work that is changing our world - we are so proud to have the logos of Zulily and Boeing on our jerseys, showcasing the incredible work created right here in the Pacific Northwest."

The 2019/2020 secondary kits are immediately available for purchase online at www.reignfcshop.com and at the Cheney Stadium Team Store.

"We are proud that Boeing- a brand that is so deeply integrated into the fabric of this region- recognizes and values the impact that women's professional soccer can have on our community," said Reign FC president and owner Bill Predmore. "We are excited by the opportunity to work with Boeing and look forward to a long partnership between our organizations."

Boeing was founded in Seattle in 1916 by William Boeing. Today, the company is Washington's largest private employer, with nearly half of its employees located in the state. Boeing has facilities in Renton and Everett, as well as Auburn, Frederickson, and other locations in Puget Sound.

Reign FC will wear its secondary kits for the first time on Sunday, April 14 when the team takes on the Houston Dash at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas at 3:00 p.m. PT. The match will be livestreamed on the Yahoo! Sports app.
