SEATTLE (October 6, 2014) - The W-League in Australia and the Frauen Bundesliga in Germany rounded out their fourth and sixth weeks respectively. Here's a look back at how the ball bounced for Reign FC players on loan in their most recent matches, as well as an update from the U.S. Women's National Team.

LEAGUE PLAY

Australia - W-League

Keelin Winters was unavailable for the Western Sydney Wanderers as they squared off against the league leaders Perth Glory. While the Wanderers were able to keep the visitors at bay during the first 45 minutes, they were unable to slow them down in the second half and suffered a debilitating 10-1 defeat. Winters returns to the team for their next match as they travel to face the Brisbane Roar on Sunday, October 12.

Match Report

Lauren Barnes and Elli Reed continued to make waves for Melbourne Victory during the club's 1-1 road tie with league leaders Sydney FC on Monday, October 6. Both Barnes and Reed started for the home side and battled it out for a full 90 minutes. Sydney FC opened the scoring in the 60th minute but were unable to hold on for all three points as the Victory found their equalizer in the 86th minute.

Kendall Fletcher was unavailable for Canberra United's 2-0 victory against Brisbane Roar on Sunday, October 5.

Cyprus - Cypriot First Division

Haley Kopmeyer continues training with Apollon Limassol, as they prepare for their UEFA Women's Champions League match against Brøndby on October 8.

Germany - Frauen Bundesliga

Jess Fishlock and her side FFC Frankfurt rolled away with all three points on October 5, defeating Herforder SV 6-1. Fishlock played 78 minutes for the home side and notched her first goal for FFC Frankfurt. In the 58th minute, a corner kick fell to Fishlock towards the top of the box. Her first shot deflected off a defender, allowing for a second attempt that sailed through traffic to find the back of the net.

Kate Deines and her German side Turbine Potsdam had a heartbreaking last minute loss to reigning German champions and Champions League winners Wolfsburg on October 5. With the game tied at 1-1, a defensive error allowed Wolfsburg to put away the winning goal in the 89th minute. Deines was available on the bench for Potsdam but wasn't used during the course of the match. The loss was the first suffered by Potsdamn this season, and puts them in second place in the league, just a point behind Wolfsburg.

NATIONAL TEAM UPDATES:

Leroux, Rapinoe and Solo Rostered for Qualifying; USA Head to KC

Sydney Leroux, Megan Rapinoe and Hope Solo have been named to the U.S. Women's National Team roster for the 2014 CONCACAF Women's Championships. On Monday, US Soccer announced its 20-player roster for the upcoming tournament that doubles as a qualifying competition for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada. The USWNT will kick-off qualifying on October 15 in Kansas City against Trinidad & Tobago.
