August 31, 2018 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC News Release
PITTSBURGH - Registration for the Riverhounds SC Winter Technical Training Academy is now open. Set to start on Dec. 1 at the Allegheny Health Network Sports Complex at Cool Springs, the technical training program is open to all players, regardless of club affiliation.
This 12-week program offers technical training for boys and girls ages 3-16 years and includes an intense training curriculum focused upon high-level technical development by a staff of professional soccer players and academy coaches.
The sessions are designed to complement your child's efforts with their community and/or classic division club by providing them with additional high-level instruction to improve their performance level through skill and technique.
There are no formal evaluations for the Winter Technical Training Academy. The program will offer multiple training tiers at each age group with players placed according to his/her technical level. Those groups will be split up over the first few weeks of the program with changes to the groups being made at any time by staff accordingly, based on the player's developmental progression.
For more information on the Winter Technical Training Academy at Cool Springs, including a full list of dates and links to register, visit the official program page at Riverhounds.com. Additionally, players from Riverhounds SC Partner Club Programs will be receiving incentive discount codes. Any further questions can be directed to wintertraining@riverhounds.com.
