RedHawks Make Roster Moves

FARGO, N.D. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks made a series of roster moves ahead of tonight's Home Opener against the Sioux Falls Pheasants at Newman Outdoor Field. The RedHawks have acquired 1B Jorge Delgado from the Laredo Lemurs for a player to be named later, signed RHP Kyle Dahman and released LHP Tony Butler.

Delgado, 31, was hitting .222 with one RBI in eight games for Laredo this year. In 2011, he batted .329 with 29 doubles, one triple, eight home runs, 70 RBIs and 67 runs scored for the Wichita Wingnuts. In addition, he posted a .434 on base percentage while recording 53 walks and 45 strikeouts.

Dahman, 27, was 2-3 with a 4.63 ERA and nine saves for the Kansas City T-Bones in 2011. In 39 games (two starts), he pitch 58.1 innings and allowed 33 runs (30 earned) on 65 hits. Dahman struck out 56 batters and walked 30.

Butler was 0-0 with a 27.00 ERA in one start for Fargo-Moorhead this season. He allowed four runs on four hits and three walks in 1.1 innings pitched.
