Tonight's Game-- The RedHawks look to hold onto first place and bounce back after last night's loss against the Isotopes at 7:05 p.m. With a win, the RedHawks can clinch a winning road trip.

Last Night-- The Isotopes set a franchise record with nine doubles as part of their 14-hit attack as they beat the RedHawks 7-4. Tied 1-1, the RedHawks regained the lead in the fourth after a two-out error by Alex Castellanos. However, the Isotopes jumped out front for the first time after hitting three doubles in the bottom of the inning to plate two runs. Brett Wallace tied the game with a two-out RBI single in the fifth, but Jeff Baisley quickly put the Isotopes back ahead with a solo home run. The Isotopes took control with a three-run sixth to go ahead 7-4. The RedHawks scored once in the seventh and had the bases loaded with two outs, but due to a limited bench, pitcher Adalberto Flores had to hit and eventually struck out. Albuquerque pitcher John Ely turned in his sixth consecutive quality start while earning the win. Ely (4-3) allowed three runs-two earned-over six innings with seven hits, two walks, and seven strikeouts. Wes Musick (0-1) took his first loss since joining the RedHawks. The lefty surrendered six runs and 11 hits over 5.2 innings. The RedHawks finished 1-for-10 w/RISP and left 11 on base.

Tonight's Probable Pitchers-- Paul Clemens looks for a fourth win in as many starts as he takes the mound this evening...Clemens is coming off a win Tuesday in Colorado Springs after he allowed four runs and eight hits over five-plus innings...Although Clemens has earned wins in both his starts on the current road trip, he has allowed nine runs and 14 hits over 10.1 IP...On the road overall, Clemens has posted a 10.38 ERA in five starts opposed to his 1.57 ERA in four home starts...Clemens has tossed three quality starts and allowed two runs or less five times...His other start against Albuquerque this season did not go smoothly, as he only retired four of 15 hitters on May 3, allowing seven runs and 10 hits in two-plus innings...Albuquerque's Michael Antonini will make his make his third start this season against the RedHawks...In 10.2 innings against OKC, the lefty has allowed five runs and nine hits with 11 strikeouts...His lone win of the year came April 21 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark...In 10 games this season, Antonini has only lasted six innings twice...He's coming off a no decision Tuesday against Fresno...He did not allow a run through five innings, but surrendered three before exiting in the sixth...Lefties are having a tough time against the southpaw, hitting just .157 this season.

Homer Happy-- For just the second time in 12 games, the RedHawks were held without a homer. The RedHawks have hit 36 homers in their last 21 games and are tied for first in the PCL with 58 home runs. In six of their last 11 games, they've gone deep three or more times. During the first 10 games of the road trip, they've left the yard 20 times. The RedHawks hit 19 homers in 25 games in April. Their 39 homers this month (24 games) is five more than anyone else in the PCL.

Hot Bats-- Over their last 14 games, the RedHawks have scored 96 runs with 160 hits, including 27 homers. Not surprisingly, they've gone 10-4 during this stretch.

Powerful Powell-- All four of Landon Powell's home runs have come over seven games during the current road trip. He has hit safely in all seven games, going 11-for-24 with nine RBIs. Powell had just six RBIs for the season until the recent surge.

Eight is (Unfortunately) Enough-- For the fourth time this season, the RedHawks failed to climb to nine games above .500. They've had records of 12-4, 16-8, 27-19, and 28-20, but have been unable to win the next day.

Plenty of Paredes-- Last night Jimmy Paredes was held without a hit for just the third time in 13 games. He has had 10 multi-hit games during this stretch and is hitting .419 (26-for-62) with two home runs and six RBIs. Since May 12, he has the second-most hits in all of the Minors.

Super Snyder-- Brad Snyder's multi-homer game Friday was his first since August 1, 2010. Each of Snyder's last two multi-homer games came against the RedHawks while playing for the Iowa Cubs. He has hit four homers in his last four games, doubling his season total. Snyder hit 11 homers in 102 games with Iowa last season.

Welcome Back, Brandon-- Following Justin Ruggiano's trade yesterday to the Miami Marlins, outfielder Brandon Barnes has been added from Double-A Corpus Christi. Barnes was hitting .317 with seven homers and 31 RBIs for the Hooks, all second on the team. He was leading the Texas league with 27 extra-base hits and 20 doubles, and his average ranked fifth. Last season, Barnes played in 71 games with the RedHawks, hitting .197/8/27.

Road Trip Challenge-- Ten games into a 12-game road trip through hitter-friendly Reno, Colorado Springs, and Albuquerque, the RedHawks pitching staff has posted a 7.02 ERA. The starters are 4-4 with a 9.13 ERA (46 ER/45.1 IP) and the relievers are 2-0 with three saves and a 4.42 ERA (18 ER/36.2 IP).

Against the Isotopes-- The RedHawks are 3-7 against Albuquerque, including three one-run losses...The RedHawks are 25-14 against the rest of the league and the Isotopes are 21-19 against the rest of the PCL...The RedHawks have been outscored 64-50 and the Isotopes are hitting .336 against the RedHawks pitching staff...This is a pivotal series between the top two teams in the American Southern division since their next meeting will not be until the final week of the season, August 27-30 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
