RedHawks Return to Albuquerque-- The Oklahoma City RedHawks continue an eight-game road trip with game two of a four-game series at Isotopes Park in Albuquerque, N.M. against the Albuquerque Isotopes...Oklahoma City lead the series against Albuquerque 8-5, including a 4-1 record in games played in Isotopes Park...This is the final series between the teams in 2011...The current series is the last divisional series for OKC until the final eight games of the season when the RedHawks visit and then host New Orleans...Oklahoma City enters Monday in fourth place in the American Southern division, 16.0 games behind first place Round Rock...Albuquerque is in second place in the division, 7.0 games behind first place Round Rock...
Tonight's Probable Pitchers-- Andy Van Hekken (25G, 9GS, 4-4, 2.97) makes the start tonight, coming off back-to-back winning decisions...Last time out, Van Hekken took a win at Iowa on July 14, surviving six RedHawks errors in the seven inning performance...Four of the last six outings have been winning decisions for Van Hekken...Van Hekken has made three appearances, including one start, against Albuquerque, posting a 1-0 record and 1.74 ERA against the Isotopes...Tim Sexton is coming off three losing decisions over his last four appearances, including two straight...Last time out on July 14 in game two of a doubleheader at Nashville, Sexton allowed four runs on seven hits, including three home runs, in four innings for the loss...Sexton has made two appearances against OKC, including one start, with a 1-0 record and 2.25 ERA...
Last Game: July 18- Oklahoma City 8, Albuquerque 7-- The RedHawks rallied from a 6-2 deficit with a four-run seventh inning before a Tommy Manzella two-run home run in the eighth won the game 8-7 before 7,491 Monday night at Isotopes Park...Gervacio picked up the relief win for OKC...Nelson Figueroa gave up six runs and nine hits, including two home runs, in six innings without a decision...Albuquerque reliever Justin Miller gave up the game-winning home run in the eighth inning for the losing decision...Manzella finished 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI, leading the RedHawks attack...Drew Locke contributed three hits and a walk in five appearances...Albuquerque third baseman Russ Mitchell was 5-for-5 and a triple shy of the cycle...The RedHawks collected only four hits over the first six innings before breaking out for six hits in the seventh and eighth innings combined...
Bourgeois Joins Hawks Again-- Jason Bourgeois joins Oklahoma City on a rehabilitation assignment for a strained right quadriceps...Bourgeois was injured running out a double play ball on June 28 vs. Texas...Bourgeois was 2x10 with Double-A Corpus Christi in two rehab games before moving to OKC...This marks the second DL stint for Bourgeois, as he suffered a strained oblique earlier in the season, putting him on the shelf from May 8 to June 3...In two rehab games with OKC during the previous DL stint, Bourgeois was 5x9...
J.R. H.R. Towles-- J.R. Towles has hit a home run in back-to-back games...The last time Towles hit at least one HR in back-to-back games was three straight games, June 28-30, 2008 with the Round Rock Express...
Clemens Streaking-- Koby Clemens recorded an eighth inning hit last night, extending his hitting streak to six games...Clemens has posted one hit in each of the games, with a double and five singles...
Road Home Runs Allowed-- The RedHawks pitching staff has allowed 72 home runs in 53 road games, while giving up only 28 home runs in 43 home games...During the previous 12-game road trip, the RedHawks surrendered 26 home runs, including 10 in a four-game series at Albuquerque...In the current trip, the RedHawks have allowed eight home runs in five games...The Hawks have given up 13 home runs in five games in Albuquerque, but lead the series at Isotopes Park 4-1...
