TONIGHT: The Oklahoma City RedHawks look to build on their best record of the year in the third of a 4-game series against the Round Rock Express. The RedHawks have won the first 2 games of the series, 4 straight overall and are above .500 for the first time this season at 46-45. They remain 1 game back of Albuquerque in the American South. Round Rock is fourth, 8.5 games off the lead. OKC will pitch righthander Guillermo Moscoso in his fifth start and sixth Triple-A appearance. Moscoso tossed 5 scoreless innings June 25 against the Express in a 3-1 win. Round Rock will pitch lefty Polin Trinidad in his third career Triple-A start, first against OKC.

FIRST TIME OVER .500: The RedHawks rallied from a 7-2 deficit in the eighth inning to beat Round Rock 9-7 in 10 innings last night. OKC scored a run n the eighth and 4 in the ninth to tie the game. Esteban German's third RBI of the game on a near double-play ball brought home the go-ahead run in the 10th, and Chris Davis' third double in as many innings added an insurance run. A.J. Murray (1-0) pitched a scoreless ninth for the win, retiring one batter and seeing two eliminated on plays at second base. Warner Madrigal pitched a scoreless 10th for his 10th save. Geoff Geary (1-2) took the loss.
TOP-HEAVY IN HITS: OKC's top 5 hitters in the order last night went a combined 13-for-25 with 6 doubles and 7 RBIs in a 15-hit attack. Six-hole hitter Emerson Frostad drew 3 walks and was 1-for-2 with an RBI. The bottom three in the lineup went 1-for-13 with one RBI.
DOUBLE DAVIS: Chris Davis doubled in three straight innings last night, the first three-double game for OKC since John Mayberry, Jr., against Memphis on June 11, 2008. Davis has multi-hit games in 5 of 9 outings with OKC and 6 doubles since being optioned July 6.
EXTRA CREDIT: The RedHawks' win last night boosted their record in extra-inning games to 10-3, second in the league behind Sacramento's 12-3 mark. OKC has won 4 straight extra-inning games dating to a win over Nashville in 11 innings June 18.
RELIEF STREAK CONTINUES: The RedHawks' bullpen has not had a losing decision since June 17. Each of the RedHawks last 9 losses has gone to the starting pitcher. The relief corps has earned 8 wins since its last loss.
HUFFMAN AT 11: Royce Huffman, who did not play last night, has hit safely in 11 straight, going 14-for-44 (.318) with 1 homer and 5 RBIs. Huffman's streak is the team's second-longest this year behind Esteban German's 13-game run from June 26-July 10.
GERMAN PICKS RIGHT UP: OKC's Esteban German returned to the lineup last night to go 3-for-5 with 3 RBIs after having Thursday off while returning from the Triple-A All-Star Game in Portland. German has hit safely in 16 of his last 17, going 26-for-68 (.382) with 14 RBIs. German is fourth in the league in batting with a .324 average, second in the PCL in on-base percentage at .427 and tied for third in walks with 53.
THE BIG A: Joaquin Arias extended his hitting streak to 8 games last night. Arias is 17-for-40 (.425) during the streak.
DOT...DOT...DOT: The RedHawks are 3-35 when trailing after 8 innings, matching the third-highest win total in the league in that category...OKC has a PCL-best 11 wins (11-3) in games tied after 8 innings...after playing 11 straight games in under 3 hours, OKC has played 4:14 and 3:29 extra-inning contests the last two nights, totaling 24 innings.
