Today's Game: The RedHawks will try and clinch a series victory as well as notch a season-best fourth-straight win when they face the Isotopes at 7:35 p.m.

Last Game: One day after relying on a strong pitching performance, the RedHawks used their bats to push past the Isotopes, 10-7. The RedHawks scored in six of nine innings and plated two each in the second through fifth innings. The team tied a season high with three home runs--ending seven-game home run drought--and set a new season high with seven extra-base hits. They tallied 15 hits, with five players notching multi-hit games. The bullpen had a nice day as well, allowing one run and two hits over the final 4.2 innings to keep the lead safe.

Today's Probable Pitchers: Rudy Owens heads to the mound looking for his first win of the season...Despite a 1.38 ERA, Owens is 0-2 this season through three appearances (two starts) and the RedHawks are 0-3 in games in which he's pitched...Owens has allowed just two earned runs through his first 13 innings and did not allow an earned run through the 10 frames he pitches...His last game was Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader against Round Rock...He picked up the loss after allowing two runs and seven hits over four innings before reaching his pitch limit...In that game Owens allowed more hits (seven) than he had for the entire season (six)...The lefty has done a great job with runners in scoring position, limiting hitters to a 1-for-13 mark this season...Although he has posted a 3.68 ERA in 11 games (10 starts) with the RedHawks, his records stands at just 2-5...Tonight is his first career appearance against the Isotopes.

With Jose Cisnero's promotion to Houston, there is no designated "second starter" following Owens today.

Against the Isotopes: 2013: 2-0 2012: 7-9 All-time: 83-77 In ALB: 37-45

Albuquerque won three of four in each of the first three series last year...Needing a sweep to keep their playoff hopes alive, the RedHawks took all four from the Isotopes in the second-to-last series of the regular season...The Albuquerque offense was hard to stop last year, as the Isotopes hit .320, bashed 19 home runs, and averaged 5.8 runs per game...The RedHawks have lost the season series with Albuquerque in three of the last four seasons.

Topping the 'Topes: Going back to last season, the RedHawks have won six-straight games against the Isotopes. It's the first time they've done that since 2008 (April 26-27; July 7-10). They are seeking their third-straight win in Albuquerque for the first time since a five-game streak in 2011 (June 22-24; July 17-18).

Today's Transactions: Earlier today, the Houston Astros announced they have recalled RedHawks pitcher Jose Cisnero and optioned pitcher Brett Oberholtzer back to Oklahoma City. Cisnero was coming off his first win of the season and was 1-1 with a 9.35 ERA to start the season. Oberholtzer made his Major League debut yesterday, allowing two runs (both on solo HR) over two innings.

Road Warriors: The RedHawks have the best road record in the PCL at 7-2. Although previous records are incomplete, it is their best road start since at least 2003. They are seeking their first five-game road win streak since July, 2012 when they beat New Orleans on July 8 and swept a four-game series in Omaha, July 16-19.

New Crowe Medicine Show: After going hitless in the first two games of the season, Trevor Crowe has hit safely in each of the last 15 games (.362, 21x58), tying him with Corey Dickerson of Colorado Springs for the longest streak in the PCL this season. It's also the longest hit streak of his career since an 18-game streak May 25-July 16, 2009 with the Columbus Clippers. Going back to last season while playing for Salt Lake, Crowe has reached base safely in 38 consecutive games in the PCL. The current streak started against the RedHawks on Aug. 7.

Best Week Ever: Earlier today, Marc Krauss was named PCL Player of the Week, after hitting .455 with six extra-base hits and 10 RBI. He has hit safely in each of his last 10 games (.418, 14x34). Even more impressively, Krauss has racked up 16 RBI during the streak, driving in at least one run in eight times. In five of the 10 games he's had at least two RBI. He has catapulted to the team lead with 18 RBI, which is also fifth in the PCL.

Perfect Ten: After Krauss' 2-for-4 day yesterday, the RedHawks already have had three players with hitting streaks of 10 games of longer (Crowe, Elmore). No other team in the PCL has even had two players with a hitting streak of at least 10 games.

Valiant Villar: After getting off to a 2-for-34 start, Jonathan Villar is 12-for-28 (.429) over his last seven games, with five multi-hit efforts. During this stretch he has collected all four of his RBI and all five of his extra-base hits for the season.

Rockin' Robbie: Robbie Grossman has had three-straight multi-hit games, going 7-for-13 in the process. His 15 walks this year leads the team and is second in the PCL, and his .473 ranks sixth in the league.

Power's Back On: After going seven-straight games without hitting a home run, the RedHawks left Isotopes Park three times yesterday. The last time they were held at least seven-straight games without a home run was Aug. 10-19, 2011 (9 games). The 21 total home runs in RedHawks games this season (OKC-11; Opp-10) is the lowest in the PCL.
