FARGO, N.D. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have activated INF Ruben Salazar from the Inactive List and LHP Broc Coffman from the Disabled List. Both players will be active for Sunday's 1:00 p.m. series finale against the Schaumburg Flyers at Newman Outdoor Field. In addition, the RedHawks have placed RHP Mike Finocchi on the 7-day Disabled List and released RHP Aubrey Edens.

Salazar arrived in Fargo last night after working through passport and visa issues in his native Venezuela. He returns to the RedHawks for his seventh season. In 2008, Salazar won the Northern League batting title after hitting .378 with 22 doubles, six home runs, 53 RBIs and 44 runs scored in 61 games.

Coffman returns to the RedHawks rotation and will get the start today, his first since July 11 in Kansas City. This season, Coffman is 6-4 with a 5.73 ERA in 11 starts.

Finocchi is on the disabled list retroactive to July 25, meaning he is eligible to return to the active roster on August 1. He is 0-2 with a 3.29 ERA in 20 games for Fargo-Moorhead this season.

Edens made one start for the RedHawks this season. He was 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA.
