Redbirds Set to Get Silly (Bandz)

Memphis Redbirds News Release
Two Major League pitchers will take the mound on Monday, July 26th at AutoZone Park. St. Louis Cardinals starter, Kyle Lohse will get the start for the Memphis Redbirds and Texas Rangers pitcher, Rich Harden, will throw for the Oklahoma City Red Hawks. Both players are making rehab starts. First pitch is 7:05pm
The Redbirds will have a post-game fireworks show presented by Strayer University on Saturday, July 31st. The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive fireworks prism glasses presented by Eye Spectrum. Game time is 6:05pm.
Sunday, August 1st will be the first of five giveaway dates for the exclusive Memphis Redbirds Silly Bandz presented by Advanced Brands. Game time is 1:35pm. Silly Bandz are the newest fashion accessory for kids. They are a molded rubber band worn as a bracelet to collect and trade. The Redbirds version is in the shape of the iconic bird found on their uniform. The first 1,000 kids age 14 and under will receive a Silly Band on Sunday August 1st as well as August 13th, 15th, 28th and 29th.
