MEMPHIS, TN - Memphis outlasted Colorado Springs in 16 innings to beat the Sky Sox 6-5 Monday night at AutoZone Park.

Amaury Cazana played the hero hitting his ninth home run into the trees in center field to end the game and stop the clock at four hours, 52 minutes. The win was Memphis' second walk-off victory of the series and eighth of the year. Cazana led the 'Birds with four hits and Kevin Howard drove in three runs. Bryan Anderson's two-run homer in the eighth inning sent the game into extra innings. Chris Nelson led the Sox with three hits and two RBI.

The Memphis bullpen came up huge tossing nine no-hit innings, including retiring 27 straight batters. Rich Rundles picked up the win with one inning of work as the Redbirds seventh pitcher of the night. Edgmer Escalona took the loss after allowing the winning run in the 16th inning. Memphis starter Nate Robertson allowed five runs on nine hits over five innings.

The 'Birds begin a four-game series with Salt Lake tomorrow night with game time scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Evan MacLane will get the ball for the home team against Bees right-hander Eric Junge.
