
Red Deer Rebels Acquire Froese From Everett

RED DEER, AB - Jesse Wallin, Vice-President of Hockey Operations/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today that they have acquired 19-year old forward Byron Froese from the Everett Silvertips along with a 3rd round selection in the 2012 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft, in exchange for 19-year old forward Landon Ferraro and a conditional 2012 WHL Bantam Draft Pick.
Froese is entering his third year in the Western Hockey League and was a fourth round selection, 119th overall, of the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2009 National Hockey League Entry Draft.
