RED DEER, Alberta - Ethan Anders made 28 saves while Lane Zablocki scored and added an assist to help lead the Red Deer Rebels past the Everett Silvertips, 4-1 before 3,977 at Enmax Centrium on Tuesday in WHL action.

Orrin Centazzo scored the only Silvertips goal in the second period, set up by a face-off win by Ethan Browne. Red Deer outshot the Silvertips, 35-29 and Dorrin Luding turned in a 31 save effort.

Zablocki tucked an early power play rebound 1:27 into the game for a 1-0 edge, but Orrin Centazzo knotted the score at 1-1, just 4:16 into the second period. Rookie Ethan Browne won an end-zone face-off at the right circle and slid a pass to Centazzo, who rifled a snap shot under the crossbar.

Grayson Pawlenchuk walked off the right wall and buried his fifth goal of the season at 9:21 to restore Red Deer's lead, and Kristian Reichel extended the lead to a pair of goals when he converted a drop pass of the rush with a bid from the left wing at 18:12.

The Silvertips generated several good looks on 11 shots in the third period, but Anders turned every shot away.

Jared Dmytriw sealed the game with an empty netter, shorthanded, with 1:32 to play in regulation.
