Red Claws To Host Food Drive Sunday

PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Quirk Chevrolet, in association with the Good Shepherd Food Bank, are proud to announce the Red Claws will host a food drive on Sunday, March 14, as the Red Claws take on the Iowa Energy at 5:00 PM. The announcement was made by Maine Red Claws President and General Manager Jon Jennings.
Fans attending the Sunday, March 14 game are encouraged to bring canned goods or other nonperishable food items to the game. Monetary gifts will also be accepted. All fans making a donation will be entered to win team-signed items.
"With something as simple as a can of food, we have the ability to make a family in need's day a little easier," said Jennings. "The Good Shepherd Food Bank has been helping Mainers in need for nearly thirty years, and we are proud to join them in their efforts."
