Red Claws Group Tickets Now Available

PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Quirk Chevrolet, today announced that group tickets are now available through the Red Claws office. Tickets may be reserved by calling the Group Sales Department at 207-210-6655 or by visiting www.maineredclaws.com and clicking on "Tickets." The announcement was made by Red Claws President and General Manager Jon Jennings.
"Our season ticket sales have gone so well that we have decided to make group tickets available earlier than we had originally planned," Jennings said. "We have been contacted by numerous groups inquiring about our packages and in-game experiences, and rather than asking them to wait, we decided to move our game plan up."
The Maine Red Claws continue to set the pace in the 16-team NBA Development League in both ticket sales and revenue. The team will open their inaugural season in late November at the Portland Expo Building.
"We knew Maine was a big basketball area, but even we have been astounded and impressed with the passion the area has shown for the sport and the support fans have shown for the Red Claws," Jennings said. "Between season tickets and group tickets, we expect to have a packed house every night."
Groups of 15 or more are eligible to purchase Red Claws tickets and can save up to 20% off the Side Center and Center Court tickets; box office prices for Red Claws tickets range from $5 to $30. Only a $1 per ticket deposit is required to reserve tickets. Groups will be able to select their game(s), in the order deposits are received, before tickets go on sale to the general public.
Groups purchasing Red Claws tickets may also be eligible to participate in unique game-night experiences. These include: singing the National Anthem, Color Guard, being part of the "High Five Kids," performing on-court during breaks or halftime, in-game recognition, receiving an exclusive clinic led by Red Claws coaching staff and players, and more. Game experiences are limited and are assigned on a first come, first served basis.

July 11 - Pick-A-Seat Day: The Red Claws will host "Pick-A-Seat Day at the Portland Expo from 11 AM - 3 PM this Saturday, July 11. Everyone attending will be able to take part in free fun and games, including the opportunity to take a shot from half court to win a Red Claws' season ticket. July 11 will be also the first chance for fans to see the brand new parquet floor up close and to see the many changes that are taking place at the Expo in anticipation of the Red Claws' inaugural season. Current season ticket holders will have the opportunity to check out the view from their seats while those thinking about purchasing tickets will have the opportunity to "try it before you buy it".
July 23 - Spend An Evening with Dick Enberg: The Red Claws have partnered with the Portland Stage Company as they present Dick Enberg's one-man play McGuire for three shows on July 23-25. Red Claws' season ticket holders who attend the July 23 premiere will have the opportunity to attend an exclusive after-show cocktail party hosted by the renowned sportscaster and multi-Emmy award winner. July 25 - Join the Red Claws Team: The Red Claws will hold tryouts for several in-game positions, including mascot, PA announcer and on-court announcer. Anyone interested in auditioning should contact the Red Claws' office at 207-210-6655.
