Red Bulls Under-18s Train with Argentina National Team

HARRISON, NJ (March 23, 2011) ‚¬" The Red Bulls Academy Under-18s was invited by the Argentina National Team to train together Wednesday and Thursday in preparation for Argentina ‚¬â„¢s clash against the United States Men ‚¬â„¢s National Team on Saturday, March 26 at New Meadowlands Stadium at 7:00 PM.

The Under-18s took to the pitch with Argentina Wednesday morning at the Timex Performance Center in East Rutherford, NJ, participating in possession drills and small sided games.

‚¬Å“The Red Bulls are getting worldwide recognition and the fact that we were invited to practice shows that Argentina respects us and our club, ‚¬Â said Red Bulls Director of Youth Programs Bob Montgomery. ‚¬Å“It is a dream come true for many of our players to train with a team of this caliber. We ‚¬â„¢re very thankful for this opportunity and for the way that the Argentinean Federation has been so accommodating to us through this process. ‚¬Â
