Red Bulls Defeat New England Revolution, 4-2, at Red Bull Arena

New York Red Bulls (5-2-5, 20 pts.) defeated the New England Revolution, 4-2, on Saturday night at Red Bull Arena.
New York scored the first goal of the night when defender Sean Nealis played a long ball behind New England's backline, when midfielder Lewis Morgan ran onto the ball and placed it into the bottom corner.
New England equalized the match in the 24th minute after Tomas Chancalay delivered a cross into New York's box and Carles Gil headed the ball in New York's net.
The Red Bulls earned the lead again when New England defender Henry Kessler got called for a handball and New York was given a penalty kick. Captain Emil Forsberg put his attempt past the New England keeper to give New York a 2-1 lead.
New York grabbed the 3-1 lead when defender Noah Eile played a give and go with Wiki Carmona, who sent a low cross across the box, which found the foot of Elias Manoel, who scored.
New England answered back in the 90th minute, when Emmanuel Boateng sent in an early cross, which found the left of Giacomo Vironi, who placed the ball in New York's net.
The Red Bulls added their fourth goal in the 93rd minute after Morgan played a ball through to midfielder Cameron Harper, who found the top right corner of New England's net.
Morgan scored his eighth MLS goal of the season, which now ranks fifth in MLS.
The midfielder scored his 22nd career MLS goal with New York, which now ranks third in franchise history for MLS goals scored by a midfielder.
Morgan has now recorded eight goals and three assists in 12 appearances this year. He has now recorded 12 goal involvements, which ranks tied for fifth in MLS.
The Scottish winger scored his sixth goal of the season at Red Bull Arena, which is tied for the most through the club's first five matches at home.
Nealis made his 118th career MLS appearance for the Red Bulls, which tied Kemar Lawrence for the eighth-most MLS appearances by a defender in franchise history.
The Red Bulls became the fourth team in franchise history to go unbeaten in their first five home matches to begin a season (2012, 2015, and 2017).
Nealis also recorded his sixth career MLS assist and his first of the season.
Forsberg recorded his fourth MLS goal of the season, which is tied for the fifth-most goals scored by a midfielder this season.
The Swedish international has six goal contributions in his last eight MLS matches.
Forsberg has recorded a goal in back-to-back matches.
New York extended their home unbeaten streak to eight matches across all competitions, which is the longest since 2022.
Goalkeeper Carlos Coronel recorded four saves in tonight's match and has now made 34 career saves against New England in his career, which is his most against a single MLS club.
Coronel recorded his fifth career win against New England, which is tied for the most he has against a single MLS opponent.
Carmona tallied his first assist of the season and the second of his MLS career. He has recorded two goals and one assist in five career matches against New England.
The Red Bulls have posted a 25-9-9 mark against the Revolution at home, including 4-1-1 in their last six matches at Red Bull Arena against New England.
Eile tallied his first career MLS assist in tonight's match.
Manoel scored his second MLS goal of the season and the seventh of his MLS career.
The Itapevi, Brazil native tallied his second assist of the season and the eighth of his MLS career.
New York have posted a 115-22-30 mark when scoring the first goal of the match since 2015.
Harper scored his first MLS goal of the season and the fifth of his MLS career.
New York heads on a two-match road trip, beginning with a match against D.C. United on Wednesday, May 15 at Audi Field.
