New York Red Bulls News Release
New York Red Bulls (3-1-1, 10 pts.) defeated Inter Miami CF (3-1-1, 10 pts.), 4-0, at Red Bull Arena on Saturday afternoon.
New York opened the scoring early, after defender Dylan Nealis played a ball to forward Dante Vanzeir, who layed it off perfectly to find a streaking Lewis Morgan for the far post finish.
New York doubled their lead early in the second half when Vanzeir laid a pass to Lewis Morgan yet again, who placed a clean finish into the bottom right corner.
The Red Bulls would strike yet again in the 66th minute after Morgan made an incredible run down the left side of the field, cut in to find Vanzeir, who then played a perfect ball to midfielder Wiki Carmona for a perfect strike to find the back of the net.
Just four minutes later, New York added their fourth when Vanzeir played another pass to Lewis Morgan on a breakway, who slotted it away to secure his hattrick.
Red Bulls have recorded 135 wins at home since 2010, which is the most in MLS.
This is only the sixth time in the history of Red Bull Arena that the Red Bulls have opened up with back-to-back regular seasons wins at home (2010, 2012, 2015, 2018, and 2020).
New York are unbeaten in their last five matches at home across all competitions.
Morgan scored his second career hat trick for the Red Bulls and his first since March 2, 2022, against Toronto FC.
Morgan has now scored four career goals against Inter Miami CF.

Vanzeir recorded his first career MLS multi-assist match in today's game.
Vanzeir became the first player in franchise history to record four assists in a match and the eighth player in league history. The first since Leo Chu for Seattle Sounders on March 25, 2023.
The forward has now recorded an assist in back-to-back matches.
The Red Bulls are now 6-3-0 in their history against Inter Miami CF.
Carmona scored his first goal of the season and the third goal in his MLS career.
The Venezuelan has now scored three goals over his last six appearances in both MLS and MLS NEXT Pro play.
Goalkeeper Ryan Meara made his first start since May 22, 2022, against Inter Miami CF and he recorded his first MLS shoutout since October 28, 2020, against New England Revolution.
Meara has recorded eight career MLS shutouts.
New York have recorded 90 clean sheets at home since 2010, which is the most in MLS in that timespan.
Dennis Gjengaar made his first career MLS start in this afternoon's match.
Carmona made his first MLS start since July 15, 2023, against Real Salt Lake.
New York will now head on the road to face off against Orlando City SC on Saturday, March 30 at Inter&Co Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via TuneIn, NewYorkRedBulls.com, and the New York Red Bulls app.
