
Orlando City SC Signs Wilfredo Rivera to Short-Term MLS Agreement

ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando City SC has signed forward Wilfredo Rivera to a short-term agreement from Orlando City B of MLS NEXT Pro, it was announced today. Rivera will be available for selection as the Lions are set to host Austin FC on Saturday, March 23 at INTER&Co Stadium.
Rivera has appeared in 49 matches for Orlando City B across his professional career, including the Club's time in USL League One and MLS NEXT Pro, scoring seven goals and providing seven assists in that same span. Rivera was a key piece of OCB's 2023 campaign in which the Lions qualified for their first-ever MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs, scoring three goals and providing three assists across 22 matches in the regular-season campaign.
Orlando City B signed Rivera to an MLS NEXT Pro contract this offseason after his MLS contract with the First Team ceased, keeping him in purple through 2024, with an option in 2025.
