KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Following a 3-3 come-from-behind draw against St. Louis CITY SC at Dignity Health Sports Park on March 16, the LA Galaxy square off against Sporting Kansas City at Children's Mercy Park tonight, Saturday, March 23 (5:30 p.m. PT; MLS Season Pass, LA Galaxy English Radio, LA Galaxy Spanish Radio).
Saturday's match marks the 80th meeting across all competitions between the Galaxy and Sporting Kansas City, with LA leading the all-time series 31-29-19. Against Sporting KC, LA holds a 26-26-18 record in league play and a 5-3-1 record in the MLS Cup Playoffs. In two meetings between Sporting KC and the Galaxy, the series was tied 0-0-2. In the last meeting between the two sides, the LA Galaxy played Sporting Kansas City to a 2-2 draw before 20,960 fans at Dignity Health Sports Park on June 21, 2023. The Galaxy will be looking for their first road win at Children's Mercy Park dating back to a 2-0 win over Sporting KC on May 29, 2019.
