Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats were shutout 6-0 by the Tri-City Americans on Friday night at the Toyota Center in Kennewick, Washington. The Americans scored three times in the first and three more in the second in the victory. Carson Focht, Nolan Yaremko and Morgan Geekie led the way with three point nights for Tri-City while Patrick Dea made 30 saves for the shutout. Regina outshot the Americans 30-24, the powerplay was oh for five and the penalty kill six for nine. Tyler Brown and Max Paddock combined to make 18 saves in the Regina goal. The Pats (13-11-2-0) wrap up their U.S. Division road trip on Saturday night against the Spokane Chiefs. Puck drop is at 9 p.m. Regina time on 620 CKRM.
