ANOTHER GAME, ANOTHER WIN!
The Rebels improved to 3-0-0-0 on the season with a hard fought 4-2 win over the visiting Regina Pats at the Peavey Mart Centrium this past Saturday, Oct. 1.
Kai Uchacz scored twice for the Rebels while Carter Anderson (game winner) and Jace Isley (empty net) each tallied once. Defenceman Mats Lindgren had two assists in his Rebels debut. Captain Jayden Grubbe also added two helpers in his season debut.
Goaltender Kyle Kelsey turned aside 33 Pats shots on goal for his second win of the young season.
It's the first time the Rebels have started a season with three straight wins since 2017-2018.
BACK-TO-BACK HOME GAMES THIS WEEK
The Peavey Mart Centrium is the place to be once again this weekend as the Rebels hit the ice for back-to-back home games.
Friday (Oct. 7), the Lethbridge Hurricanes blow into town for a 7 p.m. tilt. It's magnetic schedule night, presented by DQ and TBS Sports Excellence.
Then on Saturday (Oct. 8) it'll the Calgary Hitmen rolling up the QE II for their first visit of the season (game time 7 p.m.)

- Carter Anderson (F, '04) has goals in three straight games
- Kai Uchacz (F, '03) has three goals in his last two games
- Tanner Brown (D, '02) has five assists in his first three games with the Rebels
- Jace Isley (F, '02) has three points in his last two games
- Craig Armstrong (F, '03) has assists in back-to-back games
- With three goals Hunter Mayo (D, '04) has matched his goal total from the entire 2021-22 season (in 65 games played)
- Kyle Kelsey (G, '04) has won each of his first two WHL starts
