RED DEER, AB - Brent Sutter, General Manager/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today the signing of defenceman Matteo Fabrizi. Fabrizi was a Rebels 2nd round selection, 31st overall, in the 2020 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
Matteo Fabrizi is from St. Albert, Alberta and played last season with Yale Hockey Academy Bantam Prep team in the Canadian Sport School Bantam Hockey League. In 23 games, he had 3 goals, 15 assists for 18 points, as well as 82 penalty minutes.
