
Rebels Complete Trade with Saskatoon

RED DEER - Red Deer Rebels Owner/President/General Manager Brent Sutter announced Wednesday that the club has completed a trade with the Saskatoon Blades.
The Rebels have traded 20-year-old defenceman Blake Gustafson to the Blades in exchange for a fourth-round selection in the 2023 Western Hockey League Prospects Draft and a fifth-round pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft.
Gustafson, a native of Ardrossan, AB, was selected in the 10th round, 207th overall by the Rebels at the 2017 WHL Prospects Draft and played in 123 regular season games over four seasons with the club, recording 22 points. Gustafson played in all 10 Rebels playoff games this past spring.
