Real Salt Lake Travels to Los Angeles FC

HERRIMAN, Utah - Real Salt Lake travels to Banc of California Stadium for a rematch against Los Angeles FC on Saturday, July 17 at 8:30 p.m. MT.

The match will be broadcast live on KMYU and can be accessed locally via live stream on the KSL TV app. ESPN700 will carry the English radio broadcast and Spanish-speaking fans can tune in on KBMG Latino 106.3, La Gran D 102.3 and KTUB 1600.

Here's Dami

Midfielder Damir Kreilach was named the Major League Soccer Player of the Week for his two-goal performance in RSL's 4-0 win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC. It marks the first Player of the Week honor for the Club since Kreilach won the award back in 2018. Kreilach leads the team with seven goals on the season.

Minute Men

Real Salt Lake's Justen Glad and Damir Kreilach have played every minute of this season, totaling 990 minutes across 11 games. On the defensive end, Glad has contributed to two clean sheets and led the team with 549 passes. Meanwhile, Kreilach has scored seven goals and added three assists, playing a hand in 10 of the team's 18 goals. Glad and Kreilach are two of just 17 players in MLS who have played 90 minutes in allf of their club's regular season matches this season.

About Time

Earlier this week defender Toni Datković joined the squad, after signing for Real Salt Lake on June 2. His first training session was Monday and there is a chance he makes his club debut at LAFC. Midfielder Jonathan Menendez also joined the club this week and will look to take the pitch next week in the back-to-back home games against the LA Galaxy and Colorado Rapids.

Connections: This offseason RSL traded Homegrown Player Corey Baird to LAFC in exchange for $500,000 in General Allocation Money, a 2021 international roster spot and future considerations. Baird was named 2018 MLS Rookie of the Year and recorded 15 goals and 13 assists in 81 appearances. Additionally, RSL traded the Homegrown rights to RSL Academy product Bryce Duke to LAFC prior to the 2020 season.
