Toe Injury Sidelines Defender Andrew Brody

HERRIMAN, Utah - Real Salt Lake announced today that defender Andrew Brody has undergone successful surgery to repair a broken toe suffered in the team's match on July 3 against LAFC. Brody's timetable for return will be determined through his rehabilitation process in the coming weeks.

Brody made his Major League Soccer debut against Sporting Kansas City on May 1 where he provided an assist shortly after entering as a first half substitute. In total, the Homegrown defender has featured in nine matches in 2021 for RSL, seven of which have been starts while contributing two assists.

RSL returns to the field on Saturday, July 17 to face LAFC at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles, California. Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m. MT and be viewed live locally on KMYU and the KSL TV app. The team returns home to welcome the LA Galaxy on Wednesday, July 21 at 8:00 p.m. MT.
