SANDY, Utah - Real Salt Lake MF Albert Rusnák has been called in to the Slovakian National Team for a friendly against Jordan in Slovakia on June 6 and UEFA Euro 2020 Qualifying match against Azerbaijan in Azerbaijan on June 11.

Slovakia is currently 1-1-0 through the first two matches of UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying and leads Group E. The top two teams in each group qualify for the final tournament, which is scheduled to take place from June 12-July 12 of 2020.

"Albert has been a key factor in our current run of form and this call-up is a testament to what he's done for Real Salt Lake," RSL General Manager Craig Waibel said. "This, again, is a great opportunity for him to continue to put his stamp on Slovakia on the international stage and we are happy for him to have earned that opportunity."

Rusnák, 24, has five goals and two assists in 13 matches this season, giving him 22 goals and 23 assists in 74 matches since coming to Real Salt Lake prior to the 2017 season. In his first MLS season, Rusnák finished fourth in the league with 14 assists and added seven goals to earn the club's Golden Boot and MVP honors.
