Real Monarchs SLC Hosts LA Galaxy II Saturday at Zions Bank Stadium

HERRIMAN, Utah - Real Monarchs SLC returns to Zions Bank Stadium on Saturday to host LA Galaxy II with kick off set for 1:00 p.m. MT. The Monarchs are still seeking its first win of the 2019 regular season under Head Coach MartÃn Vasquez after two spirited draws to open its fifth campaign in the USL Championship.
A "Family Four Pack" ticket special highlights match day proceedings in Herriman where fans can purchase four tickets and Monarchs Mugs for just $40 at RealMonarchs.com. General admission tickets start at just $9 with fans able to purchase premium seating at the match for just $12 per seat.
The Monarchs opened the home portion of its 2019 regular season schedule last Saturday against expansion side El Paso Locomotive FC, a match that saw the match end in a scoreless draw. Against El Paso, the Monarchs again saw another standout performance from GK David Ochoa to help the side earn a point at home. Ochoa's performance earned him a place on the USL Championship's Team of the Week for a second consecutive week and marked his first shutout as a professional. In addition to Ochoa's performance, three more players made their Monarchs debuts against El Paso as FWs Tate Schmitt and Damian German along with DF Noah Powder all featured in the draw.
Last season the Monarchs claimed a dominant 4-0 victory over Los Dos in late-August before LA Galaxy II returned the favor in September when it handed the Monarchs its worst defeat in club history, a 6-1 result in California. The Monarchs will be without Ryden for Saturday's match due to the serving of a one-match suspension for a red card received last Saturday against El Paso.
