
RazorSharks' Win Streak Snapped, Lose to Detroit 107-98

The Rochester RazorSharks lost to the Detroit Panthers 107-98 in an American Basketball Association game played in Detroit on Sunday afternoon. The RazorSharks had a five-game win streak snapped and remain in second place in the ABA's North Division with a 12-5 record.
Two three-pointers in the final two minutes pushed Detroit to victory after Rochester led at halftime 46-42. Forward James "Mook" Reaves led the RazorSharks with 19 points, with guard Keith Friel adding 15 points and point guard Lazarus Sims contributing 14 points, ten assists and five rebounds. Forward Brian Edwards had 13 points and a team-high seven rebounds. Ryan Woodward led Detroit with 21 points.
Rochester were missing guard Eric Coley and forward Mike Mackell, both out with the flu. The RazorSharks return home on Thursday, January 11 to The Blue Cross Arena to host the Newark Express at 7:05 p.m. The first-place Vermont Frostheaves (16-3) visit Rochester on Saturday afternoon, January 13 at 2:05 p.m.
