Corpus Christi IceRays News Release
This Saturday is the final game of the Corpus Christi Rayz 2006-2007 regular season. Join the Rayz Saturday at 7:05pm at the American Bank Center as Corpus Christi caps off the pre-playoff portion of their season against their biggest rival the Laredo Bucks. One lucky fan at the game will win a '72 Toshiba HD TV, presented by the New AT&T. Plus, after the game fans 21 and older can join the Rayz for a special post-season party in downtown Corpus Christi at the Voodoo Lounge, upstairs from Bourbon St. Bar & Grill. At the party, the Rayz will hold a live player jersey auction. Your Saturday Night game ticket will get you into the party absolutely free. Make sure you're there this Saturday for the regular season finale between Corpus Christi and Laredo. Great seats are currently available. For more information, please call (361) 814-PUCK.
This weekend is the conclusion of the 2006-2007 Central Hockey League regular season. The Rayz and the Bucks will meet one final time and potentially set the stage for a playoff meeting later deep into the post-season. Corpus Christi is 5-4-3 this season against the Bucks and have never had a winning record over Laredo in a season series. A win on Saturday could clinch that milestone and give the Rayz added momentum heading into the first round of the playoffs. Fans are encouraged to come and support the Rayz in their final regular season game, and then join the Rayz for a celebration at the Voodoo Lounge. The first 1000 fans at the game will get free Toyota Scion pucks and the first 100 fans after the game at Voodoo Lounge will receive Rayz playoff t-shirts. Be in attendance for the end of season jersey auction and take home the official game sweater from your favorite Rayz players.
The Rayz are guaranteed to play at the American Bank Center in games one and two of the first round of the 2007 Playoffs, presented by the Caller-Times. On Friday, March 30th @ 7:05pm and Saturday, March 31st @ 8:05pm, Corpus Christi will host either Arizona Amarillo or New Mexico to begin the post-season. Playoff ticket packages are available, beginning at just $72. Secure your post-season tickets today! Fans who have purchased playoff packages or wish to buy individual playoff game tickets can pick up or place their orders at the American Bank Center Box Office beginning Monday, March 26th at noon. Corpus Christi is your town and the Rayz are Your Team! Come support the Rayz as they head into the post-season. For more information, please call the Rayz at (361) 814-PUCK.
