
Scorpions Regular Season Finale Packing Great Promotions

[ RIO RANCHO, N.M.]-The New Mexico Scorpions close the regular season home schedule with two great nights inside the Santa Ana Star Center. In addition to all the action off the ice, the Scorpions are looking for their first Central Hockey League division title.
The Colorado Eagles won't be the only ones landing in the Santa Ana Star Center on Friday, March 23, as Sci-Fi Night comes to the arena. The game is highlighted with appearances from the International UFO Museum in Roswell, local science fiction authors and the Dewback Ridge Squad, New Mexico 's detachment of the 501st Legion's Mountain Garrison. A science fiction costume contest should bring exciting characters inside the building. The game begins at 7:35 p.m.
The Scorpions final regular season game on Saturday will be a night to remember. Six lucky fans will be given a chance to win $10,000 in cold hard cash, courtesy of the Santa Ana Star Casino. Every fan that comes to the game Friday versus Colorado or Saturday versus Rocky Mountain will be given an entry form. In addition, anyone who buys a game day program receives six additional entries. Winners must be present at the Saturday, March 24 game to be eligible.
Saturday night will also feature the first annual La Tierra Interiors/Crystal Springs "Red Out Night." The Scorpions will bring to New Mexico a long time hockey tradition, with all fans wearing one color, making the Santa Ana Star Center look like a united front. The final regular season home game begins at 7:05 p.m.
