Rattlers Return to Gila River Arena for the 2019 IFL Playoffs

PHOENIX - The six-time world champion Arizona Rattlers and Gila River Arena are excited to announce that the Rattlers will return to Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona for the Indoor Football League's 2019 Playoffs.

With the 56-0 win over the Cedar Rapids River Kings this past Saturday, the Rattlers have not only earned a first-round bye, but will also host the conference championship at Gila River Arena, which will take place on Saturday, June 29th. The game is slated to kick off at 6:00 p.m. PDT and will be broadcast live on YouTube. The Rattlers will announce information on single-game playoff tickets upcoming.

"We will certainly miss the friendly confines of Talking Stick Resort Arena", said team president, Chris Presson. "We are thankful for the opportunity to try and win our seventh championship at another first class facility in Gila River Arena."

The Rattlers also have a one-game lead over the Iowa Barnstormers for the top spot in the IFL. Should the Rattlers maintain this lead at the conclusion of the 2019 IFL regular season, Gila River Arena also would play host to the 2019 United Bowl, in the event that Arizona wins the Conference Championship. The United Bowl will be held on Saturday, July 13th, with a 6:00 p.m. PDT kickoff.
