Arizona Rattlers News Release
Phoenix, AZ -The Arizona Rattlers will kick-off their 13th training camp at Veteran's Memorial Coliseum, Thursday, January 15th. The Rattlers are taking aim at a third straight ArenaBowl after closing out 2003 with a 13-7 mark and a second straight title game appearance.
There will be 37 players in this year's camp, and only 24 roster spots. Head Coach Danny White and his staff will have one of their most talented groups ever this season, so position battles should be heated. Veterans Sherdrick Bonner, Hunkie Cooper, and Randy Gatewood return, and newcomers Siaha Burley and Joe Germaine look to add their name to Rattler lore.
As usual, the Rattlers season will begin with a bang, as Western Division rival Los Angeles comes to the Snake Pit for an Opening Day battle. The February 8th game will be shown nationally on NBC, with kick-off slated for 1:00 PM.
