Destroyers Single-Game Tickets on Sale January 24

COLUMBUS, OH – The Columbus Destroyers of the Arena Football League announced today that single-game tickets for the team's 2004 inaugural season go on sale Saturday, January 24 at 10 a.m. Tickets start as low as $9 and will be available at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office, at all Ticketmaster locations, online at ticketmaster.com or by phone at (614) 431-3600. Tickets are also available at the Blue Jackets Zones located at the Chillers in Dublin and Easton.

In only three months since announcing the franchise, the Destroyers have received an overwhelmingly positive response from fans, surpassing 8,500 season tickets sold to date. However, great seats are still available for fans interested in single-game tickets. The following outlines single-game ticket prices and corresponding seating locations.

The Destroyers enter their first season in Columbus after relocating from Buffalo, NY this past October. Legendary head coach Earle Bruce returns to the AFL after a two-year absence to lead the Destroyers in their inaugural season, which is set to kick off on February 7 when the team travels to Indiana to face the Firebirds.

The Destroyers open up their 2004 regular season home schedule on Friday, February 13 when they play host to the Carolina Cobras in an Eastern Divisional matchup at Nationwide Arena. The Destroyers' 2004 home schedule also features contests with division rivals Dallas, Philadelphia, and New York, as well as non-divisional meetings with Orlando, Georgia, Grand Rapids, and the defending ArenaBowl Champion Tampa Bay Storm.
