BELOIT, WI - Saturday's Midwest League game between the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and Beloit Snappers at Pohlman Field has been rained out. The game will not be made up on the schedule.
Rain began to fall in Beloit around 11:00am on Saturday morning. The rain had not stopped when the Rattlers arrived at the ballpark in the afternoon and was forecast to continue well past the scheduled 7:00pm start time. The game was called a little before 5:00pm.
Wisconsin and Beloit will play a single game on Sunday afternoon at Pohlman Field. Eric Arnett (0-, 4.70) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Timber Rattlers. Beloit has either Michael Tonkin (3-3, 4.13) or A.J. Achter (5-7, 4.66) as their scheduled starting pitcher. Game time is 2:00pm.
