Rats return Magowan to Lynx

The Augusta Lynx announced today that they have been assigned forward Ken Magowan from the Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League.

Magowan, 22, was recalled to the River Rats for four games. While there, Magowan recorded two goals and four assists for the New Jersey Devils' affiliate. He recorded the game winning goal and an assist against Norfolk on February 21st, followed by by a goal and an assist against Bridgeport five days later.

This season with the Lynx, Magowan has 15 goals and 37 points in 50 games. He will be in uniform tonight when the Lynx travel to Columbia to battle the Inferno at 7:30 pm.

Augusta's next home game will be Saturday, March 12th against the Greenville Grrrowl.
