O'Fallon, Mo. - The River City Rascals, presented by Signature Medical Group, have worked with the Gateway Tigers Chapter of the Mizzou Alumni Association to bring a Mizzou Pep Rally to T.R. Hughes Ballpark August 31ston the eve of the season opener against Southeastern Louisiana.
The Mizzou pep rally will feature several former Missouri athletes including football standouts Rob Riti and Ron "Rhino" Janes, along with Mizzou basketball's Brian Grawer and plenty more. They will be on hand signing autographs and taking pictures along with Dave Matter, who will be selling and signing copies of his book, *The Mizzou Fan's Survival Guide to the SEC.*
The Marching Mizzou alumni band will also be in attendance performing throughout the game, which starts at 7:05 against the Windy City Thunderbolts, and the best dressed Mizzou fan will receive two tickets to the home opener the next day against Southeastern Louisiana. That Friday night will also feature the "Great Clips Diamond Dig". Following the game all ladies are invited onto the field to dig for a diamond pendant valued at $1,000.
