
Rascals Begin Six-Game Homestand Wednesday Night against Gateway

The 2003 SONIC Crosstown Clash continues on Wednesday night with a visit from the Gateway Grizzlies. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Rascals baseball courtesy of Keystone Staffing! Tickets are available by calling 636-240-BATS or in person at Hughes Ballpark.

RASCALS LOSE SERIES FINALE TO MID-MISSOURI 13-8
River City scored six unanswered runs between the 6th through 8th innings, but it wouldn't be enough. Mid-Missouri scored 12 over the first 5 innings and eventually held off the Rascals with a 13-8 win at Taylor Stadium.
Blake Blase belted two homers and Bill Greenwell added a homer and 4 RBI's to lead the Mavericks in winning two of three over River City in the series.
Rob Shabansky (0-1) gave up 11 runs in just 3.2 innings for the loss, while Justin Stine (4-3) tossed 5.2 innings for the win.
FOUR RASCALS NAMED TO ALL-STAR TEAM
Brian Fuess, Corey Jager, Greg Modica and Michael Conner were all named to the 2003 Frontier League Western Division All-Star team. The game will be played at GMC Stadium on July 16th at 7:00pm.
