June 17, 2025 - Pioneer League (PL)
Ogden Raptors News Release
The Raptors opened their six-game road series against the Idaho Falls Chukars in dominant fashion Sunday night, rolling to a 10-2 victory behind an electric offensive showing and a strong start from Chase Chatman.
After falling behind by one early, Ogden flipped the game in the fourth with a four-run rally, then kept the pressure on all night. True Fontenot drove in three runs on a pair of hits, Dylan Wilkinson added a two-RBI single, and Kenny Oyama went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a walk to help power the Raptors' 17-hit effort.
Chris Sargent Jr., Connor Bagnieksi, and Fontenot each tallied three hits in the win, and on the mound, Chatman was locked in - firing seven innings of two-run baseball with six strikeouts and no walks. Jestin Jones and Nik Cardinal handled the final two frames, combining for three strikeouts and zero runs to secure the win.
After a great performance from top to bottom the Raptors were able to cruise to their 10-2 Game 1 victory and have now won four of their last seven games. They'll look to keep the momentum rolling into Game 2 with five games left to play in the series on the road at Melaleuca Field.
Game 2's first pitch kicks off Wednesday night June 18th, at 7:05 PM as the Raptors continue their push back to .500.
